A production company producing story trails, plays, comedy, storytelling and Faversham Fringe.
Every act in Faversham Fringe pays just £40 to be part of the festival.
That small fee helps pay for:
✅ Insurance
✅ Equipment
✅ Venues
✅ Printed brochures
✅ Admin & accountancy
✅ Box office and tech support
And the acts keep 80% of their ticket sales.
It’s a proper community effort—powered by volunteers and local passion.
We’d love your help to keep it going: https://localgiving.org/charity/hand-of-doom-productions-cic
🎭 Who funds Faversham Fringe?
You do. We do. The acts do.
The Fringe is run entirely by volunteers and self-funded through a tiny £40 registration fee paid by each act.
That £40 covers everything:
🎟️ Box office
🎤 Tech & front-of-house
🛡️ Insurance
🏛️ Venue hire
📣 Marketing & printed brochures
No big sponsors. No public funding. Just community spirit and creativity.

We are very, nay extremely, pleased to announce that we will be running a mini version of our festival in 2021, called Faversham Fringe-lite. Running over the last weekend of July (30th, 31st and August 1st), it will feature as many Faversham Fringe favourites as we can squeeze into the venue.
We’ll be taking over What Now?! at Baltic House, the bar and comedy venue on Standard Quay. It’s a fab little place, with lots of local drinks to sup and upstairs is a neat little room with a stage, lighting and sound. Perfect for fringe shows.
We’re programming the shows now, and we hope to unveil the programme by the end of June at the latest. There will be a mixture of Faversham Fringe favourites and some new faces, and maybe even some surprise guests…
Keep an eye on the Faversham Fringe website and social media pages for further announcements. You can find the festival on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Join comedians Maddie Campion and Aaron Simmonds as they preview their Edinburgh Fringe shows on May 11th in the Arden Theatre, Faversham. Tickets £7.50 each.
MADDIE CAMPION: TRULY MADDIE DEEPLY
Hot gossip about a ghost, Mississippi and the paper clip from Microsoft word. Directed by Thom Tuck. See this VAULT Festival sell-out-show before it heads to Gilded Balloon at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Maddie Campion is a Made in Kent comedy competition runner up, and was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award 2018, “Very inventive and dry writer” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Funny Women. Her 2018 Edinburgh Fringe show was developed through Soho Theatres Edinburgh Lab and received coverage from The List and The Times.
AARON SIMMONDS: DISABLED COCONUT
“A comedian going places” *
Join the 2017 BBC New Comedy Award finalist and wheelchair enthusiast as he tells you about how his first paid gig led to him performing on BBC2 a year later, and what happens when you are being trolled online for not being disabled enough. Aaron is far better at stand-up than standing up and his unique perspective on life – usually of people’s belly buttons – gives him a distinctive edge in his performances as well as a sore neck.
*Places with wheelchair access.
